The miracle tree. It’s not an exaggeration — it’s its name.
In Sanskrit, it is called shigru. In Swahili, mzungu wa miti. In Hindi, sahjan. In almost every culture that has known it, Moringa has earned a nickname that reflects the same thing: extraordinary abundance. This is not advertising rhetoric — it is the summary of centuries of direct observation by people who could not afford unnecessary ingredients.
One tree, one continent, a millennial story
Moringa oleifera is native to the Himalayan foothills of northwestern India but has spread over the centuries throughout tropical Africa, Southeast Asia, Central America, and the Mediterranean basin. It grows quickly, resists drought, and thrives in conditions where other trees cannot survive.
The people of India have used Moringa for over four thousand years in Ayurvedic medicine — leaves, seeds, roots, and oil appear in classical texts as remedies for the skin, inflammation, and body care. In ancient Egypt, Moringa oil was one of the most precious oils used to protect the skin from the desert sun and to preserve perfumes — it has been found in sealed jars in the tombs of pharaohs. The people of East Africa still use it today as cooking oil, medicinal remedy, and daily cosmetic treatment.
The UN and FAO have studied it for decades for its extraordinary nutritional properties. Modern cosmetics have only recently rediscovered it — but the skin has known it for millennia.
Why the skin loves it: the benefits
An unparalleled nourishing profile
Moringa oil contains behenic acid (docosanoic acid) in rare concentrations in the plant kingdom — up to 6–8% — which makes it extraordinarily stable and nourishing. It is rich in oleic acid (omega-9), which supports the skin’s hydrolipidic film and promotes deep and lasting hydration.
Natural antioxidant richness
It contains vitamin E (tocopherols) and a complex polyphenol profile that helps protect the skin from oxidative stress, promoting a radiant and firm appearance over time.
Purifying and sebum-regulating action
Thanks to its composition, it is particularly suitable for combination and blemish-prone skin. It helps keep pores clean and supports the balance of sebum production without drying out the skin.
Dry texture and immediate absorption
It is a so-called "dry" oil — it penetrates quickly, leaving the skin silky and never greasy. This feature makes it ideal even for those who do not like the typical oily feeling on the face.
Soothing and calming action
Recommended for sensitive, reddened, and irritated skin. Helps soothe redness and promote skin well-being, even in the harshest weather conditions.
Exceptional stability
The high behenic acid content gives Moringa oil a natural resistance to oxidation superior to most vegetable oils — a long shelf life and a formulation that maintains its properties over time.

How to use it
Face: Pour 2–3 drops into the palm, warm between hands, and apply to clean skin with upward movements. Thanks to its dry texture, it is also ideal as a morning treatment under makeup. Suitable for combination and blemish-prone skin.
Body: Apply to damp skin after showering to promote absorption. Focus on elbows, knees, heels, and particularly dry areas.
Hair — pre-shampoo mask: Apply to lengths and ends, leave on for 20–30 minutes or overnight, then wash as usual. Alternatively, a few drops on dry ends as a light finishing serum.
Lips and cuticles: Apply a small amount for quick nourishing action on the driest and cracked areas.
Massage: Excellent pure base oil or carrier for essential oils, thanks to its fast absorption and non-greasy texture.
In DIY cosmetics: Premium ingredient for anti-aging serums, face creams, hair balms, and body treatments. Its stability makes it especially suitable for long-lasting formulations.
Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children.
