Imperial Baobab Vegetable Oil – Adansonia Digitata Oil

Ultrasound extraction · From organic farming · 100% Pure

A tree that lives three thousand years doesn’t share its secrets with just anyone.

The Baobab is not just a plant. It’s an institution. A living being that has survived geological eras, civilizations, and devastating droughts — carrying in its bark, fruit, and seeds a concentration of nourishment unmatched in the plant kingdom. What you feel on your skin when you use this oil is not just cosmetics. It’s millennia of biological adaptation distilled into a few drops.

The oldest tree, nature’s most generous

Adansonia digitata — the African Baobab — is one of the longest-living trees on the planet. Some specimens are over 3,000 years old. The peoples of sub-Saharan Africa call it the "tree of life" — and that’s no exaggeration.

Water is obtained from the trunk during droughts. The leaves are eaten. The fruit — the "pain de singe," monkey bread — is one of the richest sources of vitamin C known. The bark is used to make ropes and fabrics. And the seeds, when pressed, yield one of the richest and most complex oils found in nature.

The San, Zulu, and Tuareg peoples have used Baobab oil for millennia to protect skin from the sun and Sahel winds, nourish hair, and soothe skin irritations. It wasn’t a luxury — it was daily care.

A cutting-edge extraction technique: ultrasound

Our Imperial Baobab Oil is extracted through ultrasound extraction, an advanced technology that uses high-frequency sound waves to break the seed’s cell walls without using heat or chemical solvents.

The result compared to traditional pressing:

  • Higher concentration of active ingredients — vitamins, fatty acids, and antioxidants preserved in greater amounts
  • No thermal alteration — heat-sensitive components remain intact
  • Absolute purity — no solvent residue, no additives
  • Sustainable process — lower energy consumption compared to conventional processes

Why the skin loves it: the properties

Triple nourishing action: omega 3, 6, and 9 Baobab oil is one of the very few vegetable oils to simultaneously contain linoleic acid (omega-6), α-linolenic acid (omega-3), and oleic acid (omega-9) in significant proportions. This combination helps nourish the skin on multiple levels and maintain hydration in a lasting way.

Rich in natural vitamin E Contains tocopherols in their natural form, which help protect the skin from oxidative stress, promoting skin that looks radiant and firm over time.

Deep and lasting hydration Penetrates quickly without clogging pores. Helps reduce transepidermal water loss, leaving the skin soft and elastic for many hours.

Soothing and calming action Particularly suitable for dry, cracked, sensitive, and irritated skin. Helps calm redness and promotes skin well-being.

Elasticity and firmness over time Thanks to the combination of fatty acids and vitamin E, it helps maintain skin elasticity over time. Also suitable for areas subject to mechanical stress such as the abdomen, thighs, and breasts.

Sun, sea, and tanning

The populations of the Sahel traditionally use Baobab oil as natural protection against extreme weather conditions. Applied before sun exposure, it helps prepare and keep the skin hydrated. After sun exposure, it helps soothe stressed skin and promotes an even and long-lasting tan.

⚠️ Does not contain sunscreen filters and does not protect against UV radiation. For sun exposure, it is essential to use products with appropriate SPF.

Hair and scalp

When applied to hair, Baobab oil:

  • Nourishes dry and damaged lengths
  • Helps reduce frizz and tame split ends
  • Adds shine and softness even to the dullest hair
  • Helps protect against breakage and heat from blow dryers and straighteners
  • Hydrates dry scalp, promoting scalp comfort
  • Especially suitable for curly, frizzy, and afro-textured hair

How to use it

Face: Pour 2–3 drops into the palm, warm between hands, and apply to clean skin with upward motions. Ideal as an evening treatment or as a booster in moisturizer.

Body: Apply to damp skin after showering to aid absorption. Focus on elbows, knees, heels, and abdominal area.

Curly and frizzy hair: Apply to damp lengths before styling to enhance definition and reduce unwanted volume. Use on dry ends as a finishing serum.

Straight and fine hair: Use sparingly — a few drops on the ends are enough to nourish without weighing down.

Pre-shampoo: Apply along the entire length and leave on for 30 minutes or overnight before washing.

Lips and cuticles: Nourishes and softens the driest and chapped areas quickly.

In DIY cosmetics: Excellent ingredient for creams, serums, hair balms, and intensive body treatments.

Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children.
